Chelone is a plant genus (Chelone) commonly known as Turtleheads. the nymph in Greek mythology, Χελωνη, Khelônê. She refused to attend or even was awless at a marriage of Zeus and Hera, and following was changed into the tortoise, condemning her to eternal silence. "Khelônê" means "tortoise" around Greek and the tortoise was the symbol of silence in ancient days.
